Brief on the Development of USD $ 9.0bn Eko International Resort Complex (EIRC) Project, Lagos State

Eko International Resort Complex (EIRC) is an approximately USD $9.0bn (Nine billion USA Dollar) mixed Estate/Infrastructure development project with large recreational content, located in Snake Island/Ogogoro Island resort complex axis of Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State.

EIRC is a Mega Project consisting of four (4) integrated sub-projects, whose goal is to accelerate economic development in: trade, commerce, industry, and related fields of other human endeavors. Its development concept is based on the use of the fundamentals of the above socio-economic activities to drive international business for the benefit of Lagos State and national economic development as well as the overall national development of Nigeria using the West Africa & Central Africa sub-regions as captive area for sourcing raw material, apart from those sourced nationally. It is hosted on a land of approximately 3,500 hectares.

This concept also leverages on harnessing the natural economic and marine recreational endowment of Lagos and Nigeria in general.
