R/Admiral Andrew Omaolo Stephen Okoja (rtd) MNIM mni was born in Ebu, Oshimili North local Government Area of Delta State in 1948. He had his early education in LA Primary School, Mara Mara, Zaria in Kaduna State before proceeding to Nigerian Military School, Zaria (1962-1966) where he had his secondary education. He proceed to Nigeria Defence Academy as Officer Cadet in 1967, in NDA course 3, and attained NDACE/’A’ Level certification before proceeding to Nigeria Navy to complete his naval training in 1969 as a Midshipman. He was commissioned into Nigeria Navy as Ag Sub-lieutenant in 1970.
He had his basic and junior level Technical & Management training in India 1970-72, Specialist Course in India (1974), Pre-commission courses for Seward Defence Boat (SDB) and Corvet/Frigate (F) class warships 1973 and 1975 respectively in UK. He has had several sea commands of warships ranging from SDB to frigate class that saw him sail through five seas of the world in command positions and as a crew member. He commanded the renowned Nigerian Navy frigate and flag ship NNS Nigeria which was later renamed NNS Obuma (1985 – 1987).

R/Admiral Okoja held a Staff appointment as Assistant Director, Joint Services, Supreme Headquarters, Dodan Barracks, Ikoyi – Lagos 1983 – 85. He had a four- year duty tour as Nigeria Defence Adviser to India (1987 – 1991) where he had concurrent accreditation to Australia. He held the senior positions of: Chief Staff Officer in Western Naval command (1991), Dy Commandant Command & Staff College Kaduna (1993), Chief of Logistics Naval Headquarters (1994), Chief of Administration (1995 – 1996) and Chief of Operations 1996 – 1997, before his retirement in (1998).

R/Admiral Okoja attended the prestigious National Institute of Policy & Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru – Jos course 16 (1992-93).

His post – service life saw him veering into sports where he became the Chairman of Nigeria Yachting & Rowing Federation, a position under the Federal Ministry of Sports which he held for one Olympic term of four (4) years.

He later ventured into Maritime and Housing Sub-sector of the economy where he is the current Chairman of Rainbow BB Estate Solutions and Mercury Maritime Concession Company.

R/Admiral Okoja is a lover of nature and currently a member of the Executive Council of Nigeria Conservation Federation; a premier conservation NGO in Nigeria. He is also a founding member of Initiative for Moral Rectitude in the Society (IMRS)……..for Good Governance.

CDRE Joe Chiechefulam ORJI (RTD) was born on 4th June 1954. He had his Bachelor Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1980. He also obtained a certificate of Marine Engineering Application Course in 1982. He passed his Junior Staff Course in 1985 and in 1990 he obtained the certificate in Advanced Marine Engineering Course. He proceeded to obtain his PGD in Marine Engineering in 1990 and in 1992 he passed the Staff Course. In 2002, he attended fellow of the war college. He further to went to obtain his Masters degree in Strategic studies in November 2003, In 2009, he obtained his diploma in Marine Surveying.

CDRE Joe Chiechefulam ORJI (RTD) had a broad base experience associated with a frontline career naval officer: a career commenced with the position of a watch keeping officer onboard an intermediate class of vessel/warship, through that of services on larger vessels/warships as Marine Engineer officer grade 1, 2 & 3 to that of a Technical officer on the staff list at Naval Command and later at Naval Headquarters Level where he served as Directors of Engineering services, maintenance services and inspectorate department.

At the Naval Dockyard, Defence Industries Corporate and the firm Starz Marine and engineering Ltd, he served at top engineering management vessels. He currently serves as Chief lecturer, Marine Engineering Department, Maritime Academy of Nigeria.He is a member of Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), Registered with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Fellow Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (FIMarEST) . He is Registered in UK as a Chartered Engineer (CEng).

His activities in Engineering societies and other organizations include Member Conference Planning Committee, Nigerian Society of Engineers 2004, 2005 & 2009 (Chairman of the Security Sub-committee), Nigerian Interviewer for membership of Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST), UK, Verified Marine Engineering qualifications for classification of prospective registrants with the Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Member, COREN Pre-Accreditation team to Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron, Akwa Ibom State, May 2012.

He is also a Member of COREN Accreditation team to Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, June 2012 and Member, COREN Accreditation team to Niger Delta University, Amassoma, Bayelsa State March 2013. Member, COREN Accreditation team to Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, Delta State, April 2014, Member, COREN Accreditation team to Akwa Ibom State University, Ikot Akpaden, Akwa Ibom State, April 2014, Secretary, Road Safety and Traffic Management Committee, Port Harcourt Branch of Nigerian Society of Engineers 2014 till date, Secretary, Marine Engineers and Naval Architects’ Division (South- South and South East Chapter) of Nigerian Society of Engineers 2014 till date and also the Co-ordinator, Alumni Association of National Defence College (South – South and South East Chapter) 2014 till date.

Chief Victor Okolo

Chief Victor Azuka Okolo, a Nigerian, born 30th September, 1955 is a graduate of University of Wales Cardiff, London (UK) with MSc International Transportation.
Professionally, he is:

  • A member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, London;
  • An Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personal Management of Nigeria, and
  • A fellow, Institute of Shipping Technology, Nigeria.

An astute Port Administrator who was an overall Best Student in both the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu and Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) Nigeria, he was trained locally and Internationally.
His coquate experience include but not limited to:

  • Head of Department – Human Resources and Chief Port Personnel Officer, Nigerian Ports Authority (Onne Port), PH, Rivers State.
  • Head of Department – Terminal Benefits, NPA, Marina, Lagos.
  • Senior Personal Assistant to three (3) NPA MDS/CEOs.
  • Director, Ebu Micro-finance Bank Ltd etc

Chief Okolo, a team Player, value-Adder and a Game Changer was commended by the Management of Nigerian Ports Authority for his use of Initiation, Deliquence, Commitment and Dedication to duty.
He is happily married with children.

The Chief Operations Officer is a banker by training and a finance analyst. He started his working career in Nigerian Industrial Development Bank (NIDB) now Bank of Industry (BOI).

He floated Aussbett International Company Limited that played very prominent role in the Power and Transport Industry.

He has spent about 23 years in project management and Logistics at top management level. He has brought his wealth of experience to bear in leading the management team of MMCC.

Barr. Onweh Egboh Nneka

She is a seasoned Lawyer with Nine years Post Call experience. She holds Bachelor of Law (LLB) 2005 from Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State, Barrister at Law (BL) 2008, Master in International Law and Diplomacy (MILD) 2015 and currently undergoing a professional program at the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ISCAN).
She is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA).
She is currently a Company Secretary at Mercury Maritime Concession Company Limited.

He is a graduate from the Lagos State University (LASU). He holds a B.Sc (Hons) Degree in Public Administration.
After varied experiences in several endeavors, A young and energetic person with a special managerial experience in management affair, He is a full member of the Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria (IPMA).

Miss Ifeoma Okocha

Miss Ifeoma Okocha is a graduate of Delta State University, Abraka. She holds a BA degree in Fine & Applied Arts and specialized in Graphics design.

She had her Industrial Training in The Guardian Newspaper Ltd Nigeria as an industrial attaché in the Pre-Press department and also have a verse knowledge in graphics design and digital marketing.

She is currently employed as the Personal Assistant to the Chairman and Admin. Secretary in Mercury Maritime Concession Company Ltd (MMCC).

Mr. Stephen Kemaona Okoja

Technical Officer

Mr. Stephen Okoja holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering at Claflin University, SC, U.S.A. (2009). He also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration obtained at the Lagos Business School (2018).

He has a broad working experience in computer related fields and also is very effective in resolving issues related to research and those of a technical nature.

He is currently the R&D/Technical Officer at Mercury Maritime Concession Company Limited.

Miss Magdalene Amedu is a graduate of Bowen University, Iwo Osun State. She holds a B.Sc (Hons) degree in Banking and Finance (2010). S

he had her Industrial Training in Sterling Bank of Nigeria in Abeokuta, Ogun State as a Cashier/Marketing Officer (2011).

She has a verse knowledge in Marketing and Sales, and is currently employed as a Marketing Officer in Mercury Maritime Concession Company (MMCC) Ltd.
